I am and have been a Senior Software Engineer, a Cloud Support Engineer, a Senior Systems Engineer, and a Unix Administrator. I love to learn through prototyping.
I have been focusing on bringing together backend services using NodeJS for the interfaces and Python for backend processing. I have been using hapi for the web framework that I build systems on as well as Celery as a task queue. I prefer Ansible over Chef and Puppet because it gets out of the way of the Systems Engineer.
I focus on being a backend developer. Though I have been doing some frontend work playing with Polymer or AngularJS to bring my pages out of the 1990s.
